Upgrading

A few days ago i received my two 3 Terabytes (TBs) hard drives with USB 3. One is for back-up. They were being used and tested at the same time. To my surprise, the transfer rate didn't seem too impressive, perhaps it's just me constantly being impatient. Maybe i just had it in my head that transferring large amounts of data would no longer take the time of sleep. There were tons of files to be transferred and backed-up... but wait, the computer does not want me to use my two 3TBs simultaneously. It would read that they're there, but only one would be active at any given time. So now i'm forced to transfer everything twice from the original locations. But it's fine, as long as the information is backed up (hopefully identically), it'll be okay. ...Also, i've learned that there are secret softwares installed into the hard drives which take up space and require some "hacking" from specialists to remove them to free-up/add some space. The 3TBs advertised is actually 2.7TBs. Now, aside from the supposed fact that the advertised measurements are taken from a different system (eg; inches vs. meters), it's a bit pointless when the end measurement is going to be what the computer reads and how the consumer sees it.

Test

this is a test drive and there is nothing to this post so don't pretend you know what is going on and don't think you will figure it out because there is nothing to figure out, and if you managed to figure something out you're crazy.
